3. Structure – art by Ben Nathan
The area’s most intimate and secret little art gallery, 43 Inverness Street, is hosting a brand new exhibition by artist Ben Nathan, titled Structure.
Ben uses bold colour and strong lines to depict the brutal forms of flyovers, water towers and concrete tunnels, holding an unpredicted beauty and vitality. Cop a load of his ruddy splash of sea wall, for instance, in his canvas Seascape (pic).
As Ben said recently on his blog, “it is my reaction to what I see around me, through constantly walking and cycling, which provides me with the stimulus, the motivation and the subject matter for my practice. I drift through the city and record my observations.”
The show runs 14 June – 13 July, 43 Inverness Street, NW1 7HB

It’s a shame that the Housepresso signs clash so horribly. The new sign makes it look like a branch of Jessops.
Ouch! Harsh but fair, I cannot un-see Jessops now.
Nah it’s cool, reminds me of Paul Smith
I agree with Helena, House Presso is a really great new concept also the coffee is really good
IMO their coffee is watery and bitter – a product of over extraction…and they could do with rethinking their choice of blend.
