5. Open Mic Sessions at The Grafton
Local musician and promoter Paul Littler has been in touch to give us the skinny on his new open mic nights. They are held fortnightly in the lovely upstairs room at The Grafton, the next one being this coming Tuesday (18th).
“So far we have had great interest from local musicians, comedians and performers,” Paul tells us. “I believe it’s a great platform for local up and coming talent to showcase their music. We’re actively trying to create a better community for the Kentish Town locals too.”
With the pub sure to be as bustling as ever, (do they ever have a slow night?) performers are guaranteed a strong audience, so we heartily suggest all aspiring local Next Big Things get in touch and book a slot for Tuesday forthwith.

It’s a shame that the Housepresso signs clash so horribly. The new sign makes it look like a branch of Jessops.
Ouch! Harsh but fair, I cannot un-see Jessops now.
Nah it’s cool, reminds me of Paul Smith
I agree with Helena, House Presso is a really great new concept also the coffee is really good
IMO their coffee is watery and bitter – a product of over extraction…and they could do with rethinking their choice of blend.
