2. Yodel your cares away?
Here’s a slightly different way to spend the evening. Cool leftfield relaxation group thingy Antidote for Urban Life meet weekly in the Old Town Hall on Haverstock Hill, and tonight’s event all about learning to yodel.
From belting group singsongs to dancing with wild abandon to live African drumming, this is, they claim, a “real-life, activity-based social network”. It’s also a rare opportunity for adults to enjoy playing and acting like little children without booze being to blame.
So if the idea of warbling with a bunch of strangers tickles your social fancy, then this is most certainly the place to come. If you can put reservations aside and get stuck into the spirit then this is sure to be loads of fun. If not, there’s always the recently spruced-up George over the road for a very stiff drink afterwards.
Book here for only £10, or pay £15 on the door. 7.30-9pm 213 Haverstock Hill, NW3 4QP. Yodel-ay-ee-hoo.

It’s a shame that the Housepresso signs clash so horribly. The new sign makes it look like a branch of Jessops.
Ouch! Harsh but fair, I cannot un-see Jessops now.
Nah it’s cool, reminds me of Paul Smith
I agree with Helena, House Presso is a really great new concept also the coffee is really good
IMO their coffee is watery and bitter – a product of over extraction…and they could do with rethinking their choice of blend.
