4. Cycle Camden’s Peripherique
We’ve recently advocated walking around it, but this weekend it’s all about getting on yer bike, as Camden Cyclists hold the 7th annual All Around Camden Bike Ride, pushing off on Sunday morning.
The event, led once again in 2013 by cycle-mad Councellor Paul Braithwaite, is totally free and there’s no need to enter in advance. Just rock up at 10am behind the Town Hall (or 9.30 for a freebie bike check to boot).
There are 17 or 22 mile options, taking in the striking diversity of the local area from Hatton Garden in the south to Kenwood House in the north. Lunch stop is at Golders Hill Park, and after the 17-mile boundary route has been completed, those still hungry for more of Camden can continue on, right through the heart of the borough, up the hill to finish at Hampstead Old Town Hall.
More info from their site.
NEXT: Perform live at The Grafton

It’s a shame that the Housepresso signs clash so horribly. The new sign makes it look like a branch of Jessops.
Ouch! Harsh but fair, I cannot un-see Jessops now.
Nah it’s cool, reminds me of Paul Smith
I agree with Helena, House Presso is a really great new concept also the coffee is really good
IMO their coffee is watery and bitter – a product of over extraction…and they could do with rethinking their choice of blend.
