Did you catch Pizza Express’s workmen taking down the signage at the now closed K-Town branch yesterday? Photographer Sally Lyall Grant did, and sent us these shots.

And, as we always say, whatever people think of the brand itself, it’s a shame to see a question mark once again over the iconic building – and it’s this that has brought such an outpouring of feeling amongst thousands of you.

But there is good news. One very cool cinema chain is still more than interested, and emailed us again today. So watch this space.
