Pinboard: Is That a Tiger in St Pancras? Plus New Art and a Pub Makeover

7. A Brand New Palmerston?

Lord Palmerston lo

“Exciting news here at The Lord Palmerston,” manager Stephen told us this week about the ancient hill-side tavern. “After months of speculation, finally planning has been agreed for works to begin on Lord P’s facelift. We close the doors for five weeks from 25th February and re-open for business 2nd April.”

The pub is inviting regulars down this Sunday evening (24th) 8.30ish, so they “can show everyone what we have planned for the new look.”

And no, they won’t even tell us any more than that for now. So head down there for the skinny – and, of course, a nice pint of ale or two. 33 Dartmouth Park Hill.
