And whilst we’re talking all things rock, fancy finally fulfilling your secret fantasy of becoming the next Gene Simmons? Well, Annie’s Bar is the joint to make it happen. The other day local band The Pleasure Men dropped us a line to say they’re hosting a ‘Rockaoke’ night on the first Saturday of each month (with maybe more to be added if you lovely readers help make it successful). The concept is pretty straightforward – choose a song you’d like to sing with a live rock band, email the band, and then go along and share the stage with them.
