Take a look at our freshly-printed menu for tonight’s Kentishtowner takeover at Kentish Town Road’s acclaimed Sardinian restaurant, Pane Vino.
Some highlights? Cured meats (think buttery bresola, and a darker, thicker goat prosciutto with a peppery rind); room-temperature creamy buffalo mozzarella resting on ripe tomatoes, drizzled with intense, fruity olive oil; sausage and spinach with fluffy white beans, bobbing in a garlicky tomato sauce. Oh, and we recommend calamari with courgettes, or fregola and mussels too. Even better, for one night only, pick any three dishes for just £12.
As it’s our “takeover”, we’ve matched the sharing plates with on-trend Venetian aperitifs like Aperol Spritz and Negronis, but there’ll obviously be the usual full drinks menu too; and we’ll be lighting and dressing the interior ourselves, so it’ll be dark and sexy.
Finally, thanks to all you readers who responded: the event is nearly fully booked, but there are some last minute cancellations so we’ll be allowing walk-ins, even if you may have to wait a moment at the bar a la Chicken Shop. To bag a space email events@kentishtowner.co.uk
