Yard Sale Pizza opens in Tufnell Park

To celebrate, the pizza dons are offering 50% off - as well as free pizza for your street

We’re huge fans of Yard Sale, which has built a loyal London neighbourhood following over the last ten years, delivering award-winning pizza from dough-to-door across large swathes of north, east and south-east London. In fact, our sister title Leytonstoner has long raved about its East London locations.

And now, great news for N and NW locals: their twelfth shop is opening on 15th April at the foot of Dartmouth Park Hill – an olive’s hurl from Tufnell Park tube. It will provide pizza via their in-house delivery service to the Tufnell Park, Kentish Town and Archway neighbourhoods, as well as parts of Camden, Hampstead, Highgate, Gospel Oak, Belsize Park and Dartmouth Park. Basically, that’s the entire readership of this very publication.

To celebrate the latest opening, Yard Sale Pizza will be offering one lucky street within the shop’s delivery radius a chance to win pizza for the entire street. Yep, the entire street! Local residents will need to nominate their street via an online form and the road with the most nominations will win.

And there’s more. The shop will also be offering 50% OFF pizza for delivery from Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th April and again from 22nd-24th April. To claim the discount, customers will need to sign up to their mailing list to receive a daily online discount code to use.

Please bear in mind that the 50% off discount is limited, with codes being released at 5pm every day (tip: they usually get snapped up in minutes so brace yourself to act quickly at 5pm sharp. Otherwise you’ll need to wait until the next day).

For the uninitiated, Yard Sale prides itself on its in-house delivery service, having spent the last decade developing its pizza so it’s engineered to travel: this means a 48-72 hour slow fermented dough, and slightly slower-and-longer cook to create a crispy base that can better withstand a journey, allowing the freshest and hottest pizza for their customers.

Locals can expect their signature menu made up of 12” and 18” pizzas, including favourites such as the ‘Holy Pepperoni’ topped with smoky gyula pepperoni, regular pepperoni and ‘nduja, and the famous – and admittedly our fave – TSB, topped with tenderstem broccoli, pine nuts, garlic oil and parmesan. Whatever you do, you have to try the notorious cheesy garlic bread with marmite too.

They’re also known for their limited edition collabs with some of the best chefs, restaurants, musicians and comedians London has to offer, which in the last year have included legendary Leytonstone restaurant Singburi, as well as Tayyabs, Big Zuu, the Camberwell Arms and most recently, Roti King.

Located at 6 Dartmouth Park Hill, their twelfth shop will offer delivery and collection, along with a few seats for dine-in. Yard Sale’s in-house delivery service is made up of their own fleet of delivery drivers and cyclists and has been in place since its inception in 2014, ensuring quality from dough to door – handmade, hand-delivered.
