Bag yourself an impressive art investment while also helping renovate a Grade II listed brutalist local landmark

S

chool fundraising sales are more commonly known for bargainous cast-offs and cakes, but at Tufnell Park’s Acland Burghley, you might end up with an Anish Kapoor original.

The school’s first Secret Art Auction is currently accepting online bids for postcard-sized artworks donated by a host of friends and associates, from current and former students, to local and internationally acclaimed artists.

The name behind each work will only be revealed when the auction closes on December 21st.

There’s a chance to see each piece up close tomorrow night (Thurs 6th Dec) before placing your bids, when the school’s first ever artist in residence – Turner Prize winner Mark Wallinger, no less – hosts the official launch event.
