We’re pretty sure you’ll never have seen Tufnell Park’s Dome quite as fabulous as this. Why? ‘Cos telly lady and chef Gizzi Erskine, also the author of a fair few cookery books, has been beavering away on a five-course menu for an event that she’s hosting there called The Glam Clam.

The aim of the festive five-nighter is a combination of “sustainable seafood extravaganza” with the “speakeasy coastal bars of Atlantic city in the 1920s – all with a London edge”. Okaaaaaaay.

An oyster-and-clam heavy menu will be executed by Hix (of fancy Soho and Clerkenwell restaurants fame), and accompanied by cocktails, vino, craft beer and bubbles galore.

And you’ll need a side order of music and cabaret, right gurl? Why, that comes courtesy of east London troupe Sink The Pink’s Glyn Fussel, who’ll transform the iconic NW5 hangout into a jazz club reminiscent of “deep dark Vegas” with live music from Collette Cooper, drag queen cabaret and all manner of burlesque madness.
