Sponsored Video: Puma’s ‘Live Life Don’t Watch It’

As regular readers will vouch for, the prospect of a big night plonked in front of the flat screen gogglebox, paws on a filthy takeaway, has never really stoked our fires here at The Kentishtowner. After all, the blog’s raison d’etre was to draw attention to the wonderful range of activities here in central north London.

So, yes, we unashamedly spend our time banging on about the joys of getting out there and doing things, our potatoes being determinedly more dauphinoise than couch.

And, cynical as it’s tempting to be about glossy portrayals of American youth ‘just hanging out’, this little video we’ve been sent from Puma strikes a similar pro-getting-out-there chord. So we don’t mind indulging in our first spot of viral sharing. Why the hell not?

And yes, you might well argue, it’s obvious that we should live life instead of staring at the latest banal bunch of reality TV no-marks. But those big weekend telly ratings for Britain’s Got Talent suggests many millions could well be in need of a reminder. Although not us – and not you lot.

Even in the Big Smoke it can be easy to fall into the same patterns, the same pubs, the same mates. So maybe the message is really to do something new; to get out there into the heart of the great metropolis (or at least Kentish Town Road). And with all this activity, seems you might just need a new pair of trainers too. Ahem.
