“Like many people, I have a predisposition towards procrastination. The art of doing something, while avoiding the main issue, is a daily temptation.”
Or so says artist Martin Grover, whom we meet inside our new July print issue, out today – and free as always.
And since it’s now the height of summer, what could be truer? The surprise, if you’re enjoying our cover artwork (above), is that Grover is actually a south London-based artist, whose work we first encountered at the recent Affordable Art Fair on Hampstead Heath.
Elsewhere inside we take tips from Grover and are purposefully idle – whether it’s pondering the power of the Heath’s memorial benches, trying some “laughter yoga”, or strolling along the Parkland Walk, which connects Highgate with Finsbury Park. Happily we still find time to eat – discover where in our summer food and drink double page spread.
Don’t procrastinate – pick up a free copy at one of the outlets below.
