December is always a load of fun in clubland, with spirits high during the Christmas party season, then unashamedly joyful (at escaping the turkey leftovers and stifling family conversations) over the festive period itself, followed by the biggest blowout of the lot, New Year’s Eve.
North London’s only superclub, Egg, is jumping into the seasonal spirit with both feet as it completes a decade in the game, and a year that has seen the club refurbished adding more dancefloor capacity on three levels plus a huge new smoker-friendly roof terrace too.
Want to be invited to every one of their parties in December plus three mates? Read on…
Among the many highlights over the month ahead: Detroit techno legend Kenny Larkin headlines Night Train on Saturday 14th, chirpy Circus chap Yousef bring Dennis Ferrer as his special guest on Friday 20th and prolific Spaniard, Uner, plays at a super-festive Supernova on Sat 28th.
But biggest draw of the lot is the huge line-up for New Year’s Eve. Minimal tech maidens Cassy and Tania Vulcano will rock the basement (take a look at the scenes from midnight NYE 2012 in the video above for a taste of what to expect), Hot Creations man Waff, Pirupa and Ibiza residents on the outdoor terrace provide plenty more attractions on the top notch bill. And Egg always rocks way beyond sunrise and into the next day, so those New Year’s resolutions will have to wait.
