How long have you lived here? I’ve been in north London all my life; in Camden and Archway for the last six years. The city always energises me through its vitality and ever-changing skyline; it’s amazing how many old buildings are not there anymore, so taking pictures is a way of preserving the past.
What are you most proud of? My current series on the Thames at low tide at sunset or sunrise; I even got a full moon shot in Battersea. And I love the one of Kentish Town, too (pictured above).
Tell us the story behind this photo. It’s of young Felix at Camden Road’s skate park. I noticed we had the park to ourselves that day and it was dull so I used fill-in flash to make him pop a bit more. The idea was to get a friend in an action shot doing something he loves.
Finally, where’s your favourite place to hang out? Camden Market, Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill, the Lord Stanley and the free viewing gallery at the top of the Tate Modern.
