Rudimental just played a free gig in Camden

The swift set was part of their lorry-back pop-up tour day around the capital

At half three this afternoon, a lorry bearing the Rudimental crew suddenly rolled into Camden Town. Pulling up outside 196 Camden Road and then heading to Stables Market, the band played two tunes at each spot: the classic Not Giving In, and brand new banger These Days.

The swift Camden shows were part of a @UNILAD snapchat take-over, that saw them play their first pop-up freebie gig at Hackney Library at 11am, swinging through Shoreditch, Leicester Square – and they’re finishing up in Ally Pally at 5:45pm tonight.

Nipping out to check their swift 10 min set, we can report they’d still gathered a formidable crowd – some bemused older ladies, some hyped kids in snapbacks. When it abruptly ended, chants for ‘one more song’ were met by one member, who joked, “we’re going to get shut down!”

Better hotfoot it to Ally Pally.
