Two new burger joints in Camden

A meaty option. And a vegan one. Something for everyone, right?

Go meaty: Kick and Munch

So what does Kick and Munch mean? To be honest we’re not entirely sure, either. But the previously unchanged stretch of Camden Road east of the Overground is definitely having a rather belated moment; and this cavernous new diner specialises in posh burgers, beer can chicken, pulled pork and ‘buffalo’ cauliflower ‘over-baked’. It’s right opposite the lovely Apulia although its offer couldn’t be more different. 70 Camden Road NW1, more here.

Go vegan: VBurger

The latest Camden Market arrival is Vburger, and offers vegan streetfood from a simple menu of moreish plant-based burgers. It serves three options, including beetroot, falafel and seitan schnitzel which you can top and tail with optional vegan cheese or avocado. Sides include skin-on fries, sweet potato wedges and coleslaw salad. Open daily until 7pm, Camden Market, Chalk Farm Road NW1. More here.
