The Highgate Road favourite is having a bit of a bash. And so’s the Colonel Fawcett (and Kerb)

KENTISH TOWN: Rossella festie is back

The Annual Al Fresco night returns. Photo: PR
This always popular Highgate Road trattoria is hosting its annual Al Fresco Night on Saturday, in which, says owner Luca Meola, they turn their little parade “into a little part of Italy for one night only”, with over 250 people attending. Expect an all-you-can-eat buffet, live Italian musicians, refreshing cocktails and an outside dining experience. Let’s hope the weather cheers up. Tickets £25, 5-10pm, 22nd July at 103 Highgate Road NW5

Thousands of free G&T’s up for grabs. Photo: PR
But before that, we advise you to start the day south of Camden Road Overground, where it’s the fifth annual Colonel Fawcett Day at Camden’s best backstreet boozer of the same name. To celebrate, they’re giving away thousands of free gin and tonics in ‘perfect serves’ from all their favourite producers, while stock lasts. Followed by DJs and a big old free party till 1am (perhaps one to return to after Rossella – gulp). Sat 22nd July, 2pm onwards, 1 Randolph Street NW1

KING’S CROSS: ‘It’s only arctic roll but I like it’

Everyone has an edible guilty pleasure, right? Well, that’s what streetfood giants Kerb want you to believe, anyway. Whether it’s big macs, chicken dippers or strawberry angel delight, this two-day fest sees regular traders turning their talents to recreating their “most indulgent secret food sins reimagined for 2017”. And you can wash everything down with martinis, daiquiris, boozy ice cream floats or craft beers. A live covers band will be playing on Friday night, followed by nostalgic party tunes through the decades. Fromage frais indeed.
Free, Fri 21st July 5-11pm and Sat 22nd July 11am to 9pm, Granary Square N1C
