The Tufnell Stumble is back

Ten independent shops along Fortess Road and beyond are throwing their third yearly bash

This jovial annual event is basically an excuse for an evening meander, vino in hand, along Fortess Road, on what should be one of the warmer days of the year. The intention, in theory? To come away with a nice purchase or two.

This year, ten independent shops will be open until late with affable owners pumping out free prosecco, demos, tasters and snacks to cheer sweaty post-work locals on a bit. Yay.

Stores include Jessica De Lotz jewellery, SK Vintage womenswear, Eeny Meeny kidswear, Down To Earth yoga studio, Ruby Violet ice creams, Harrington & Squires letterpress printers, Diverse fashion boutique, 90 Degrees picture framers, and just beyond Fortess, Wow Studios interiors and the newly expanded Future & Found lifestyle store.

As you’d expect, it’s a sociable kind of event, so be prepared to come away with a new mate or two. And you never know, they might just live around the corner.
