Inamo Camden and Juniper Tree are now open

Swanky pan-Asian in Mornington Crescent or modern British up in leafy Belsize Village? The choice is yours

MORNINGTON CRESCENT: Inamo

Down opposite Mornington Crescent tube is a massive new building next to the former cigarette factory that now houses Asos. It’s just open as the third branch of Inamo, serving Pan Asian cuisine with flavours from across Japan, China, Thailand and Korea, including an intriguing-sounding sushi-donut and sushi-bagel. You can order yourself via the interactive technology on your table, and play a selection of addictive games (you can even draw on your table) whilst your dishes are prepared; then dine in the interior, or on the heated roof terrace and garden area, where there’s a living wall. Wowsers. More info here.

BELSIZE PARK: Juniper Tree

Looks nice, eh? A new neighbourhood local in Belsize Village. Photo: PR

Leafy Belsize Park has had a few problems keeping its restaurants and bars in business recently, so a new indie eatery sounds like a welcome development. Juniper Tree opens in the Village (in the former Beyoglu) and focuses on simple British cooking with the best of local, organic ingredients. Chef Vincent Millet’s menu focuses on culinary classics, from game terrine to a vegan mushroom risotto with parmesan crisps. More info @junipertreeLDN. Open daily at 72 Belsize Lane NW3
