Here’s a heads-up on a tempting tasting event taking place across the weekend, cleverly timed to coincide with Malbec World Day.

Camden Market is the destination for an al fresco wine bonanza, featuring over 80 wines from Argentina, served from a converted, thoroughly tarted-up shipping container (pictured above).

As well as those full-bodied Malbecs you’ll fine Chardonnays, Cabernets, Pinots and Argentina’s famous white, Torrontes.

And of course there will be food. Honest Burger will be on hand to serving the ‘Cambalache’, a chimichurri and chorizo burger, available for this event only. In true Argentinian style the whole place will be turned into a proper party with loads of live music throughout the day/night too.

The container has toured festivals and looks pretty cool, so combined with wine, burger and song, this one sounds like an ideal weekend diversion.

Midday – 9pm, Saturday 15th and Sun 16th April, Camden Lock Place, NW1. More info from winesofargentina.org
