Also on hand are equally talented K-Town food folk Anima e Cuore and mixologists Knowhere Special, dishing up classy snacks and cocktails respectively. Free, 7pm, Thurs 7th April. Show runs till the end of the month daily. 237 Kentish Town Road NW5

FOOD: Touro Belsize Park

This Brazilian steak micro-chain with branches in Wimbledon and Brighton has taken over a defunct basement bar on Haverstock Hill that’s changed hands yearly for as long as we can remember (most recently it was Coco Bamboo, before that an Indian restaurant). This at least seems a pretty good concept, filling the need for a quality meat joint in the lower reaches of NW3. Expect cuts from bavette to short rib, plus salads, charcuterie and seafood. CAFE: Little Oak

The former House Presso opposite Gospel Oak station has been taken over by a young couple who’ve done a decent job of increasing the product range, and gently nudging it into more ‘artisan’ territory. Expect punchy Sicilian beans, with most coffees two quid or under: a double espresso, at £1.50, was smooth with a rich crema. Freshly made almond croissants, brownies and their ilk too along with quinoa and lentil crisps. No sign of anything more substantial in the lunch department, so definitely just a pit stop at the moment. Open daily. 1 Mansfield Road NW3
