New March issue – and where to find it

Once again we're dishing out the new issue at stations across the area on Monday after work. But you can pick it up before then from these places

Now stocked in permanent outdoor bins and handed out at stations across the area.
March issue: now stocked in permanent outdoor bins and handed out at stations across the area.

After the success of our first ever hand-to-hand distribution last month across five key stations, our brand new free print issue, out today (March 11th), will again be handed out at rush hour across the neighbourhood for one night only – this coming Monday, 14th March.

So, if you’re a commuter, make sure you pick one up on your way home at Camden Road, Kentish Town, Chalk Farm, Gospel Oak and Mornington Crescent between 5pm and 8pm. We have now also placed sturdy distribution bins that hold hundreds of copies outside the newly reopened Tufnell Park tube, Kentish Town West and Gospel Oak too, where you can be guaranteed to pick one up at any time in the next couple of weeks. And don’t forget – we’re still stocked in all the usual pubs, cafes and shops (see below).

[dropcao]W[/dropcap]hat’s inside this month?  We celebrate the onset of spring with a look at a few recent additions to the neighbourhood, from the new clothing and retail shops opening up in Kentish Town to pop-ups in Gospel Oak, refurbished boozers on Holloway Road, and canalside joints in King’s Cross.

We also visit longstanding Ethiopian family-owned restaurant Lalibela, meet popular dry-cleaner Hasan opposite the mercifully reopened Tufnell Park tube, and check out Mildred’s latest vegetarian outpost in Camden.

LOCAL ADVERTISING

The striking front cover is the work of local letterpress printers Harrington & Squires: if you’ve never popped into their diminutive Fortess Road store you really should: they create bespoke stationery, invitations and cards, as well as running weekly workshops.

If you miss the hand-outs at the tube and rail stations pick up your copy as usual from these regular outlets.
