North London Food & Culture

A little surprise on your way home tonight…

Our new issue will be handed out at five tube and rail stations in the area tonight between 5-8pm. Make sure you grab one!

KT32
Our February issue will be the first we’ve ever handed out at stations.

So we’ve finally got our act together and our brand new free print issue, out today (February 15) in all the usual stockists (see list below), will also be handed out at stations across the neighbourhood for one night only.

So, if you’re a commuter, make sure you pick one up on your way home at Camden Road, Kentish Town, Kentish Town West, Gospel Oak and Mornington Crescent between 5 and 8pm. We’ll hope to expand to more stations in the area next month.

To coincide with this exciting development, inside this special issue we look at urban niggles – what winds us up, living as we all do cheek by jowl.

A roll call of locals ’fesses up, from the former NW5 pub manager dishing the dirt on stroppy customers to readers’ gripes about appalling behaviour at the movies.

But number one on the anti-social hit list? Why, dog poo, of course: so we examine the smelly reality which, judging from the outpourings on social media, seems to be everyone’s bugbear.

We also hear three sides of the cyclists-versus-pedestrians debate on the canal’s overcrowded towpaths, and offer up a fresh perspective on how to deal with noisy neighbours.

Plus there are tips on what to do and where to go this month, as well as the usual food and drink reviews.

If you miss the hand-outs at the tube and rail stations pick up your copy as usual from these regular outlets.
