This year's third annual bash has a seasonal Oktoberfest flavour and takes place later this month

Most readers will be aware that the Brewery know exactly how to throw a little celebration or two. And so a date to pen firmly in the diary is their third annual Tank Party, the bash that’s all about fresh unfiltered Hells lager straight from a 60-hectolitre tank. Burp.

The tank party concept originates from a longstanding German tradition of local brewers supplying Kellerbier (cellar beer) to their immediate community, and with that in mind this year’s event is lasting twice as long.

So it takes place over the whole weekend, on both Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of September.

A suitably ‘Oktoberfest’ feel will be in the air courtesy of a pop-up beer garden under the new tank-side canopy (which also means more covered outdoor seating). Plus there’ll be seasonally themed food, live folk music, brewery tours, family fun and, er, quite a bit of that daisy-fresh beer.
