While we have all been lolling on the Heath, Leslie Wilson-Rutherford, founder of local pop-up of choice the Dandy Lion Market, has spent the summer scouring her homeland of California for foraged furniture and treasures. She’s brought them back to sell at the forthcoming first anniversary the market, which sells affordable art, crafts and vintage wares monthly at The Oxford on Kentish Town Road.
Lesley was the subject of our Ich Bin Kentishtowner interview in February, explaining how she came from Cali to K-Town.
We suggest you embrace that back to school feeling on Saturday September 7 and dig out a new vintage frock, all the way from the USA. California has its fair share of celebs so you never know which A-lister may have worn it before you. Have a good rummage.
