1. Intuitive Creatures

A new company formed out of the London International School of Performing Arts, it’s their first time at the Fringe. Performances are rooted in the teachings of Jacques Lecoq, and they like to “experiment with grotesque characters and elements of physical theatre and live music”. Grrrrrrr. 12th until 16th August 730pm, Camden People’s Theatre, 58-60 Hampstead Road NW1 £10

2. An Evening of The Absurd: are we all still Waiting for Godot?

Closing The Gap are a new cutting-edge theatre company devising experiential theatre. As their name suggests, they want to “close the gap between the theatregoers and theatre-makers”, taking you out of the darkness of the auditorium and into the “light of the world they have created”. Their debut show features two contrasting pieces, Breakfast with Chamberlain and Glory Days. Mon 5-Wed 7 August 730pm, Camden People’s Theatre, 58-60 Hampstead Road NW1 £7.50

3. Four Femmes on the Thames

They rock a Blustons dress like no-one else (delighting the, er, Daily Mail, no less) and have been called ”faultless, well-polished, and funny with perfect harmonies”. And this cover of Back To Back by Any Winehouse will give you more than an inkling of their schtick. Fri 9- Sat 10 August 730pm, Canal Cafe Theatre, Warwick Avenue W2 £12
