Pinboard: a plan for the Pizza Express building?

Also this week: a new French-Vietnamese cafe on Fortess Road, the Amy Winehouse exhibition starts in Camden, support some channel swimmers, catch a bee-themed play ...and where can you ask for the libation cunningly known as a "Kentishtowner"?

Like bees? Prefer them with a dash of murder? Well, this Sunday the Mikron Theatre Company will be performing their new bee-themed “whodunnit” (yes, really) at the Pirate Castle.

The evening will be a partnership with Camden Friends of the Earth, so there’ll be a short talk and information about their Bee Cause campaign first, plus honey-based sweet treats to scoff as you await the performance.

And the play itself? Beyond the Veil investigates an” unnatural death” down by the beehives on an allotment – and starts its sting at 730pm. Watch the trailer above. The Pirate Castle, Oval Rd, NW1 7EA.

    1. Kentishtowner

Ha. No, probably less trendy and more inclusive for the whole community as it can be a gallery, educational space, studios, theatre, cinema etc by turn
