Kentish Town’s literary landmark is on winning run at the moment. Last week saw historian Gillian Tindall, our main June issue interviewee, speak to a packed room about hew new book Three Houses, Many Lives.

This Saturday it’s the turn of Joe Craig, who is instore at a sprightly 10am (till 12 noon). Readers may remember Joe wrote us an exclusive article on the Camden and K-Town locations in his smash hit children’s series Jimmy Coates. So if that piqued your interest, head there bright and early and grab a signed copy of his latest romp Blackout.

And meanwhile, Tuesday sees an author talk and signing with Louise Doughty at 7pm. Author of six novels, most recently Whatever You Love (shortlisted for the Costa Novel Award and longlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction), admission is free. Just email owlbookshop@gmail.com to book a place. Don’t forget to say where you read about it.

Next: More live music at Poppies
