2. Alma Street Fair dates – & another reader competition to design our June front cover
Oh, how a Kentishtowner hearts the Alma Street Fair, now in its 7th year. Like K-Town itself, it’s one for those in the know, and that’s (of course) part of its charm. It takes place on Sunday 23rd June, from midday. And, of course, it’s free.
To coincide with the fair, we’d like to throw open a reader competition to design our next print front cover – the June issue – with an “Alma Street Fair” theme. You can interpret it any way you wish, either literally or in an abstract manner.
This is a fantastic chance for a local artist to get their work out there in front of our many thousands of readers. And if you need convincing, check out the winning cover artwork from our last reader comp winner, artist Olly Sylvester here.
