Pinboard: Dach & Sons no more – plus Club Kali, DRAF, Station Sessions and St Patrick’s Day

1. Have you ever been to K-Town’s legendary Club Kali?

Did you know the “world’s biggest LGBT Club where Eastern beats blend with Western classics” is right here on our doorstep?

Club Kali’s Easter special takes place tomorrow night (and every third Friday of the month) at the Dome in Tufnell Park. It’s been going a mighty 17 years with DJs Ritu & Dilz serving up what they call “sizzling Bollywood, Bhangra, Arabic, and dancefloor” classics. So far, so sweaty.

Tomorrow’s event also coincides with the start of the 27th BFI London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival so you could even thrown in a bit of culture before the party. Cinematic highlights on offer include ‘I am Divine’, a biopic about John Waters’ legendary drag queen; James Franco, co-director and star in ‘Interior. Leather Bar’ hot from the Sundance Film Festival; and an Oscar-nominated documentary ‘How to Survive a Plague’. All events take place at the BFI Southbank (March 14-24th).
