4. Kentish Kaleidoscope returns

oxford

There’s another fantastic Kaleidoscope evening planned a week tomorrow (Fri 15th), this time upstairs at The Oxford at 256 Kentish Town Road. Historian John Richardson, author of Kentish Town Past, will present the history of the manor from medieval times up to and including the 19th century. Alongside that, the excellent Bikini Robot Open Mic house band will be performing from 8pm to provide a cheeky soundtrack to what’s sure to be an absorbing, diverse evening. March 15th, from 7pm. Email manyculturesonecommunity@gmail.com to book a seat.

And if that wasn’t enough, Leslie Wilson-Rutterford and Nina Gebauer are running costume-making sessions at The Pineapple this Saturday March 9, 12-4pm making giant pineapple costumes for Landlord and Landlady Pineapple. Yikes.
