3. Get to know local notables

bff_100_blue_plaque_nash

The first of many cultural events to come from wonderful Books For Free NW5, featured here earlier this week, kicks off on Saturday. A guided walk by artist Alban Low will take you around 18 local Blue Plaques, from Hampstead and Euston to Tufnell and all in between, starting and ending at the shop itself. Alongside getting to see what greats have called N-dubs home, they’ll also be putting up mini-magnetic plaques celebrating artists and contributors to the community. Saturday, 10am. Books for Free NW5, 147 Fortess Road.

And ps if you haven’t checked out our own very popular blue plaque collaboration with Alban, read more here.
