Smile?

No feature today as the Kentishtowner chien was brutally attacked (not in the manor thank god) by rottweilers a few days ago. After open heart surgery, you’ll be pleased to hear she is now on the road to recovery. Here, in the meantime, are some random NW5-related things this week that made us smile:

This letter in the Camden New Journal about our favourite sartorial outlet for the older lady, Blustons.

This ace local band who are playing at KOKO’s Bestival reunion tomorrow night.

This news about the West Kentish Town-based Camden Town Brewery opening a tasting room & alfresco weekend bar. A quick call to the brewery has confirmed that the launch is “very soon”, kicking off on Fridays (2-11pm) and Saturdays (11-11pm). Hurrah.

But most of all a sign – “This Is Not Spring Studios” – in the window of one of West Kentish Town’s more rundown terraces:

An easy mistake to make, we think you’ll agree.
