I know it’s all art, art, art this week on The Kentishtowner, but before we forget, we have to plug the Camden New Journal’s recent interview with NW5 legend Dame Paula Rego on the subject of local graffitti.
Rego, whose studio is in Kentish Town, wisely supports the idea of a committee to consider the value of street art (whether it should be kept or painted over) – and here at KT towers we’d like, simply, to register that we 100% agree with her. Read the full interview here.
So let’s encourage creativity and get an art body together to allocate spaces and stints for local artists at all levels.
