Stuck at home this weekend? Never fear, there are a fair few parties being thrown by local pubs to lure you right in. First off, it’s the Rose & Crown’s 2nd birthday bash, with live music, DJ’s, food by Cucina Rustica, and the usual tasty and well-curated array of beers. And it finishes late too, natch. 71-73 Torriano Ave, London NW5 2SG

Over at the fourth annual Colonel Fawcett day (at, erm, the pub of the same name, silly) the owners are giving away “thousands” of free gin and tonics in ‘perfect serves’ from all their favourite gin distilleries, while stock lasts. So get there on the dot at 3pm. And the party lasts till 1am. 1 Randolph St, London NW1 0SS

On Sunday you can pick it up again at the brand new Chicago Rib Shack in the refurbished T.E. Dingwall building, when Vinyl Pimp hosts a Sunday session called Rhythm and Brews (geddit?) with DJs, BBQ, craft beers and, of course, more vinyl than is stashed in your gran’s dusty old attic. Starts 12pm. Free. T. E. Dingwall Building East Yard Camden Lock Place London NW1 8AF
