This week's crop of things to do and places to go

3. Help to bring these foodies above the river

Everyone seems to be having a go at crowdfunding these days. This particular one was highlighted to us by Kate down at our sister site, Belowthriver.co.uk. It’s a Brixton Village foodie success story looking to expand north to serve at Camden Lock Market.

Rosie French & Ellie Grace started out with a blog and a supper club, progressed to become street food vendors with their Über Wraps and published a cookbook last year. Their flatbreads, bulging with things like spiced lamb, halloumi, salad, pickles, pomegranate, chorizo, fresh mint, harissa and tahini would certainly be a welcome addition to the growing Lock food scene. Cool video too.

But… they don’t have long to raise the cash and move in ahead of the summer rush. If you fancy helping make it happen while enjoying some rather tasty perks in return for your investment, visit their Indiegogo page for all the info. Yum.
