Where to pick up your free March edition of Kentishtowner – in print

It was, on reflection, not the best day to be out delivering newspapers. Our earlybird drop-offs last night at popular boozers The Grafton, Tapping The Admiral, Abbey Tavern and The Oxford led to an inevitable pub crawl followed by late night chow-down at Chicken Shop.

Heads throbbing this morning, we wrestled driving rain and several hours of appalling traffic to hand-deliver once again to our 50 or so stockists. There are more places in Camden this month to pick up a copy, including lovely cafe Leyas and the DRAF gallery down in Mornington Crescent, as well as small bundles in key newsagents, including two on Kentish Town Road and Queen’s Crescent, as well as new outlets like George’s Barbers, Scratchline Tattoos and Mehmet’s.

Inside the issue, look out for lots of brand new editorial, including the winner of our competition to design the front cover artwork. Plus there are features on Queen’s Crescent (including some fascinating old black and white pics), the Wine Cellar, a “travel” piece on Swain’s Lane, the five best ever gigs at the Bull & Gate, open mic nights in K-Town, vintage shopping in Camden, and a brilliant Ich Bin Kentishtowner shoot unlike any other to date. Oh, and a mouthwatering food section. Phew!
