I’ve lived in many areas of London since moving from Cambridge many moons ago, but I’ve found Kentish Town to be one of the more friendly and community-spirited of all.
With this new irregular slot I hope to bring you three minute video portraits of both local celebrities as well as those who are lesser known, but contribute in their own unique way to society.
A few weeks back I met up with Roger Lloyd Pack. For our younger readers, Lloyd-Pack is best known for his roles in the TV shows The Vicar of Dibley and – most famously – Trigger in Only Fools and Horses, as well starring in the international smash hit Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
A local celebrity who has lived in K-Town for many years, Pack organizes one of the best street festivals, and is a petitioner against the closure of Highgate library. He wasn’t keen on speaking about Trigger, but was more than happy to speak about everything else.
Enjoy, and I welcome your feedback below.
