With 130 days to go until the London Olympics, the passage of the flame around the UK has been announced, and we’re chuffed that it looks like it may pass through our glorious manor on Thursday July 26th, the day before the Opening Ceremony. Yes, really.
With the promise of a party at Ally Pally the night before, the official interactive map shows a route that carves through Dartmouth Park, Kentish Town and the Queen’s Crescent area, where it crosses Grafton Road and Bassett Street.
But will the flame actually be carried via this route; or simply start from the Roundhouse, the official start point for the final day’s passage? If you have any more detailed info, please let us know. Heck, there’s bunting to be sorted.
Unlike the rest of the UK, street by street details for Central London remain undocumented so far, but after taking in the Camden scenery, the torch heads through the City and over the river to Brixton, before what we assume to be an even bigger party in Westminster.

I had a look today at the official map and it seems the brown dash line indicates the torch leaving the area, it won’t be on show along this route. I hope they change their plans if this is the case!
